Local processing

DogPedigree stores dog, pedigree, breeding, litter, puppy and attachment references locally on your Mac. The core app does not require an account or upload those records to Shipmac.

Encrypted storage

The app encrypts its local archive with authenticated encryption and keeps the encryption key in macOS Keychain. You remain responsible for protecting your Mac account and any exported files.

Exports

DogPedigree creates files only when you request an export or backup. Buyer packets may contain personal or animal records you selected, so review each packet before sharing it.

Website and checkout

This website may produce ordinary server access logs. Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record under its own privacy terms. Shipmac receives the purchase details needed to deliver and support the app; payment-card details are not handled by the app.

Website analytics

This website loads Google Analytics only after you choose Allow analytics. When enabled, Shipmac measures page visits, the product hostname and checkout starts; it does not send files or content processed by the Mac app. You can change your choice at any time using Analytics choices.
